They shouldn't try and contend right now imo, just stick it out and get 2 more top 5 picks while the young guys develop

Stick to your TV analyst gig King. Hawks won't target any of those guys in free agency. Their roster is pretty well set.

Oh believe me this is no where near realistic. Imo they should try and get one more top 3 pick (Levshunov or Kivijarhu) before they go for it. I’d also like a guy like Jarry on the roster. I do think Duchene would be a good get though.

Hawks probably aren't giving out anything longer than a 2 year deal to any UFA in this class. That's going to limit the guys who will even talk to them. Which is fine.
