I wouldn't be surprised if he came in under 4M. Feel if teams were willing to take him at that a deal similar to the Johansen one would've happened. Or Nashville just didn't wanna use all 3 of their salary retention spaces.

Definitely not a pylon, great skater for his size. Consistent 10+ goals. Agree San Jose wouldn't be the spot for him though.

I know he’s a decent player. He will help a contender, he’s one of the few Oilers that raised his game in the playoffs. They should keep him.
