Description

Without Quinn, we may want to balance the lines more but I feel like Krebs, Greenway and Olofsson can get sheltered minutes. Or maybe Jost centers that line and Krebs stays with Okposo and Girensons. Our signings definitely means Bryson is on waivers, and then you have Jokiharju, Lybushkin, and Stillman for one spot. So maybe we keep two defenseman as healthy scratches to ensure depth. Olofsson is probably better as a deadline pickup anyway. His salary with retention then will be appealing for teams. And we didn't get locked down long term on D. Ryan Johnson may only need one season before he's a 3rd pair option and if Calgary starts slow, maybe we can accelerate our timeframe make an offer for Rasmus Andersson. I also think they're going to give Murray a chance as an extra forward and give Kulich a handful of call up games but not enough because his ELC can slide one more time. I think they see having Kulich play 3 full years on his ELC in Buffalo as a huge advantage, which is true.
