If Duclair is healthy he is an excellent fit with the Sharks. I would consider extending him if I was Grier

I like Lorentz but he’s always going to be a bottom-6 guy so this should be an upgrade for San Jose. Florida signed Rodrigues for the same cap hit Duclair had, so for them it’s more like Duclair for Rodrigues. I’m not sure that’s an upgrade, but it gives them 4 years of cost certainty on Rodrigues versus one year on Duclair, and more flexibility on their forward lines because Rodrigues can play center or wing, so I get it for them too.
