If we’re bringing in Karlsson then we’ll certainly need a more defensive third pair, and Ty Smith is the opposite of that. I’d rather move him in the Karlsson deal than Joseph. May have to add another asset, but it makes sense.

Also, if he’s not going to have a legitimate spot in the line up, I’d rather have Puustinen play first line minutes in the AHL for one more year instead of sitting in the press box. He’ll replace Carter in a year once he’s finally gone.

Hopefully Ned outperforms DeSmith in camp.

I just can't see SJS doing this. If they are eating that much money, I think they have to get more young assets back like Pickering or another 1st/2nd.

If San Jose would do this, i think it would be done. That's not enough for sure, that would only be enough for Arizona or another bad team to eat our bad contracts, let alone eat $4M and give us EK.
