Toews has long covid. His career is possibly over. And TOR plan with Holmberg and did not resign him for 2 years just to be a call up from the Marlies.

That Gibson deal is one of the closer and more “fair” deals I’ve seen proposed. Not saying it’s a good idea, just purely focusing on the value going each way.

I think TOR adds a little as the 3rd to dump Murray is low, and a 1st + Brodie (who I don’t think holds much value) is also low for Gibson at 50% retained.

I’d say:

Gibson (50% retained) for 2024 1st + Murray + 2025 3rd + prospect is fair
