I think their big contracts are a little top heavier and with older players

Buffalo hasn't made a prospect depleting move and/or big ufa signing so as of now we will have waves of ELC contracts to support our big money guys.

Should be a fun competition, especially if Lindy sticks around

I agree Sabres best players are 25 and younger and top forward prospects will be making the team in two years. I think biggest difference will be defense and goalies. Devils do not have a Levi in the system and hamilton should be declining. I dont think Nemec and Hughes are going to be Dahlin and Power.

Devils have a little more certainty. Sabres have the advantage of A LOT of ELC support. should be really fun.

It wouldnt shock me. I don't expect it (Matthews is too good in my opinion), but it wouldnt shock me.

I think Hughes is best center of the teams but I think Cozens and Thompson are easily 2 and 3 then Hischier. On the wing is where sabres need to wait and see how prospects grow.

I'm not sure I agree. Hischier is a great 2 way center. An upper middle class Bergeron.

Cozens is the sabre best two way center. cozens put up 68 points playing with two rookies all year long. He will be PPG player next year and in 2 years will be sabres best forward. WHen i ranked him ahead of Hischier is not a knock. I believe devils and sabres will have the best 1-2 punches at center for long time.
