Most of these trades with Boston for Scheifele are way overvaluing him. He only has one year left, and even if he re-signed he just doesn't fit Boston's timeline well. The Bruins won't be competitive for a couple of years, and he'll be 33 by then. The Bruins also have a barren farm system. It makes to sense to mortgage the future even more and open questions about our future in net just to be a better fringe team.

Given the situation, I wouldn't even consider trading Swayman straight up for Scheifele.

Why would Florida trade two good forwards for depth forwards and a later first that will probably be 10-15 area
