Horvat won't sign for 3.2M, not at that term, not when Drouin is getting 5.5M with similar production last year. If it were a 2 year bridge deal maaaybe. I would hope Edler would waive his NTC to go to a contender but unlikely Sutter would waive to go to Buffalo. Don't know why VAN hasn't looked at taking on some bad/unwanted contracts to get picks. Sounds like Vegas already has a trade in place for Kruger though. Just won't be announced until after July 1st. You got the right idea though, too bad Jim Benning still thinks the Canucks are playoff bound.

Depends how well the Sabres can sell themselves (ie. making their roster better)

I certainly wouldn't complain if he went. I think one of the keys for Sutter is being close to home, so the Alberta teams should be high on his list. Maybe a trade to EDM which frees them up to trade RNH because they have fewer concerns at center? But in either scenario, VAN is probably getting a bad contract back, Brouwer or Pouillot most likely. But eh, if it comes with picks...and only two years on Pouillot with no NMC.

No way Horvat resigns for so little. Also, you really think Sutter is worth Bogo and a 2nd, maybe just the 2nd or Bogo and a 6th.
