Description

Don't take this too seriously. Just wanted to see if this team could get closer to entering their window with a few free agent moves.

And honestly, I think they're close. Zegrass and Terry should get matching Caufield/Suzuki deals (I rounded up here, but plus or minus 8mil a piece). If Carlsson isn't ready, then Henrique or Strome become the 3C.

I think this team on paper would be really competitive in the Pacific this year. LD is kind of light, but I can't remember if that Varkanen kid is supposed to be good or not. If not, Benoit and Nemeth are there for him. Not great, but the best in FA right now.

I think they'd still be a year or so out, but a step in the right direction without losing any assets, or really overpaying anything crazy.

Vaaks may be our 7th defenseman, no point to sign Nemeth — just play a youngster with Gudas

Drysdale gets closer to 2 million than 4 million and I’d give Dumba 2 years max, I’d prefer a 1x5

I think Terry gets more like a 6x7 and Zegras like a 8x7.75 or so

I think Carlsson plays one more year in the SHL then comes to the AHL as soon as his season is over there, maybe just plays in the AHL but I’m not sure we throw him straight into the NHL
