Not a fan of the Giroux idea, but I don't think that gets it done anyway. Flyers are set on the right with Simmonds and Vorachek.
Don't like Alzner myself either. Negative possession, low production, less mobile, shutdown guy. We need mobility and production/PP on the back end to compensate for an aging Markov and to partner with Weber.

I do like the idea of giving Yakupov a shot with Galchenyuk.
Yakupov - Galchenyuk - Drouin could be a dynamic offensive combination with some sheltering. Coach might not be thrilled at the prospect, but fans might enjoy it. Worth taking a chance for what it would cost.
