I see a No from Winnipeg. Detroit needs to offer more. Carolina might be intrigued. I think Philadelphia is set in their goaltending situation so that move doesnt work for them. Islanders just sent Hamonic to Calgary ($3.8M). Why would they then trade to take a crappier defensman in Ericsson at a cap hit of $4.2M? So theres a NO. I think Detroit likes Jensen too much to send him to Chicago to eat a salary that Chicago doesnt want. However if Hossa is out this year (as reported) Kruger is affordable for them as well. So No deal. Not sure why you would give up Green and not get Nurse or Reinhardt in the package back. Maybe Green and a 3rd round pick for Nurse? Green is contract year so you wont get a whole lot for him. Thats a tough call.. but i wouldnt let him go for that. I wouldnt give up your only reliable defenseman in Dekeyser. Seems like like a bad idea to implode your entire defense from last season other than Kronwall. I think your only trade that holds any water is Abdelkader to Dallas. If they have the room, its a good deal for them. Yea he isnt great, but they arent losing much in that deal at all. Any team with salary cap and half a brain would take that deal.
