I like Mikheyev's elite speed and elite penalty killing. Underrated offense too.

Mikheyev is like better Kerfoot, which explains why the Leafs got rid of him... He does a lot of nothing, which is good for 1.5-2 mill... not so much a 4.75 mill player

He was excellent for the Canucks this season despite injury problems and not getting up to full speed. Outstanding defensive instincts, excellent forechecker and has been finishing a lot more the past 2 seasons. He's just my personal preference. Wouldn't expect everyone to agree. I do think he's about $1m overpaid but every roster construction will have that. Make up for it with excellent value on Verhaeghe.
