I love Harris but we're stacked on passable defenceman right now, Xhekaj brings a level of physicality and heart to the game that Harris just doesn't have, not at the size he's at. Harris is great in all situations but we have Defenseman that will take on PP1, PP2, 20Mins per night roles not including either. Xhekaj's intangibles make him the clear keep, which is unfortunate considering just how good Harris is.

Xhekaj intangibles do not translate to the game in 2023. playing him 15 minutes a game makes him a liability. Theres hasnt been 1 cup winner with a Xhekaj type player in their d core. Colorado did for reg season but decided to upgrade at the deadline for a more two way dman. There is no reason to pick xhkaj over harris. You play your best players outright
