Why wouild the Leafs trade a player who doesn't affect the cap? 20 man roster with no cap.....work do be done.

Brodie appears to be a logically cap candicate . But his M NTC list has 10 teams. I can't find a logical team on his trade list that would take on his full salary. A buyout might be the only way.
