Description
Hornqvist is worth more on the team than in a trade, but Sprong would fit best in the top 6. Kessel isn't moving, and Hornqvist's game wouldn't see a huge hit on his offside.

And maybe he meant to trade for Mark Stone from Ottawa...? In which that offer from us is laughable.

Stone has solid underlying stats, could work well in our system (yes, that Stone, not Mark). The picks are probably a bit high, but don't overrate Perron. Scuderi has a NTC, not a NMC, so he can be put in the AHL (and should). The max cap that can be stored in the AHL is something like a million, so most of his salary would still work against the cap but putting him up against waivers is better than Clendening or Erixon.

I'd be surprised if 4 juniors stay in the NHL this year. (from the 2015 draft) To think Sprong could make the NHL now is probably fantasy. Training camp "stars" often are not around at the beginning of the season or certainly at the end of the season.
Scuderi or not, the Pens Dfence certainly looks weak and being so close to the cap.....not much leeway in picking up any help.
