Well it’s been reported Briere wants multiple 1sts and prospects for TK.

So assuming the trade would be TK for 1st, Pelletier, and Hanafin which I guess closely fits that ask even tho Hanafin isn’t a prospect. Not sure that’s enough for Danny to bite.

Moving to the other parts of the trade; it would be Seeler Staal and two 3rds for a 2nd and Ruzicka.

If I was trading Seeler and Staal I would want a 2nd and Ruzicka minimum without us sending two 3rds back. I think each could possibly reach a 2nd on their own realistically a 3rd each without us having to give anything back.

Overall it looks like the Flyers are giving more than they are getting for this trade so I don’t see Danny entertaining a deal like that especially since every reporter has said TK won’t be moved unless a deal blows them out of the water, this isn’t that.

That's a pretty ludicrous pay for the Leafs. Knies is likely untouchable and that 1st isn't travelling in a deal Nylander is apart of.
