Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Description

Jones will not be sent through waivers, he will make the team or be traded
22-man roster(sorry Nash) to build cap space for 1 in-season addition
Kakko on 2L for Panarin D support, suck it up bread
1L Wheeler for skill level with Zibby
3L Kreids (PP is the important role), Tro, and Vesey; play well together, strong in NS and grit
4L Goody is the leader and Bonino can slide to C if Goody is called to fill gaps higher up as needed

1D Miller/Fox a look for going forward
2D Lindgren allows Trouba to return to his strong O-side game
3D Zones and Gustafsson's battle for 3LD will probably be decided in-season with them sharing duties at the beginning of the season; they both have puck-moving skills and are a good match with Schneider. Edge goes to Gustafsson for his experience.

Laffy's bridge deal is rumored to be in the 2.1 - 2.7M range; estimates on Kakko and Chytil bridge deals were high. Looking at the lower end.

I agree with all these lines. But I’ll be mad if Trouba is on PP2 over Miller/Gus/Jones

Need to keep fox off the PK like you did

I think Gus also gets the edge because of Jones being really undersized

My only problem with Trouba on PP2 is that he loves to shoot it but he’s wildly inaccurate and he’s not the best puck handler.

Also he is slow so it increases the chance of getting scored on during our own powerplay

I think Gus was the caps powerplay QB when Carlson went down unless I’m mistaken
