I doubt the trade goes down like this, if at all. Nylander probably won't want to sign in SJ long term as he probably wants a chance to compete as well, so that doesn't really do much for the Sharks. Basically it would be a one year rental who you flip at the TDL, a good D man, a probable late 1st and a cap dump and you expect to get Karlsson, at 5.7 million retained, and Duclair for that? That is a LOT of retention for SJ to take on. The trade would probably revolve around more future assets for SJ as they're looking to rebuild.
