Description
Gonna do an armchair GM of each team. Hopefully get 1 per day. I don't necessarily know pairings, so please forgive me. Just trying to think logistically what each team could do this offseason.

Wow, Arizona has a lot of cap space.

As a Coyotes fan, I want no part of Shattenkirk, and I doubt he wants any part of Arizona. Also, the Coyotes aren't going to give up Duclair for practically nothing. Lines are a little wonky but I don't blame you.

Really? May I ask why? Coyotes seem to be in need of a RD and he's easily the best one available at least IMO. I think Duclair lost pretty much all value this past season. From another organization's standpoint, I couldn't see myself giving up much to get him and I see him as the piece being moved since there's already so many playing the LW thanks to the 2 centres being moved to that side to account for Strome, Stepan, and Keller coming in this year who are only listed as centres. I'm basing all of this only on the positions that CapFriendly is assigning them, but isn't Duclair actually a RW? If that's the case then I wouldn't see him moved quite yet in all likelihood.

If you haven't been reading the news lately, the Coyotes have purged just about everyone from their organization that was considered even slightly toxic. Under Tippett, Duclair was constantly either scratched from the lineup or relegated to four line duties next to the likes of Josh Jooris and Ryan White or he was demoted to the AHL. In his rookie season, he showed great chemistry with Domi and this year he never really played with Domi for more then a few shifts here and there. Also, Duclair is a left shot-right winger, which, the Coyotes need about all the help they can get on the right side.
In terms of defense, Shattenkirk doesn't exactly fit the age group of the current roster. And the Coyotes also have an internal budget that they really have to stick to so they can't afford to give out money and bad contracts like that all the time.
