This has been discussed to death. Duchene isn't going to be a Duck. COL doesn't need Vatanen because they have Barrie. They've already reportedly turned down a better package from NYI in Pulock + Barzal + 1st. If ANA did make contact with COL asking about Duchene, I'm sure the ask would be Lindholm or Fowler. Personally, that's an easy "no" for me. No need to move out D-men that we need for luxury centre depth that we really don't need.

Well if they are asking for Lindholm then I can see why Sakic can't trade Duchene or anyone for that matter. Vatanen can play the left side.

Replace Nattinen and Petterson with 2 first round picks to turn an easy COL no into a yes.

Barrie can play on the left side as well. I think Ritchie+Vatanen is a solid trade core.

Since when? Vatanen is a RH, right side D-man. Yeah, Vatanen can play left side, but not well and nowhere near as good as right side.

Lindholm and Fowler would be the ask from ANA. I'm sure a variety of different offers are being explored.

Don't see it personally. Too many PMDs on COL backline and not enough good quality D-first guys.
