Description

Some will say "Pinto will get more". Yes he could but this is a 1 year show me deal where he could get a more lucrative long term extension next year when the team will have a lot more breathing room

I don't think the Rangers are looking to trade Lafreniere but just for fun, making a pretty decent offer IMO

Cap would be tight for call ups so maybe have another team to retain a bit on Goodrow

Rangers would trade Lafreniere but they get a 1st plus some good/decent prospects and save a few millions on the cap

Not opposed to the idea but at least give us something worth our time, bunch of meh assets won’t land Laf.

Uh... a 1st and Jarventie are not meh assets lol

Sokolov and Thomson are secondary but also pretty decent prospects

I don't think you could recoup 1st OA value... it doesn't last forever
