Hey Rob, what's up? I have a ? I didn't get the AHL package last year, just certain games, on the daily package. Depending on how much my cable goes up, I may get the AHL package again for ROC Amerks and Cuda, I've had it before but prefer NHL. Even though I'm optimistic about the Sharks being better, I don't know if it's enough for the NHL package this year? As for the Cuda, they made a late run as usual last year, missed out on tiebreaker, but what do you think of their chances to make the Playoffs? Eklund should be on the Sharks, and I know Bords and Gushchin are there, also Raska and Coe and Robins. Who are some Fs I should be looking at, besides those 5? They have some nice D prospects and hopefully someone in the organization steps up in net, Sharks and Cuda.
Sharks are going to be bad… very bad! But this is the bottom and the prospect pool is top 10 and a lot of those guys will be in the AHL.
In net this is Chrona and Makiniemi year to shine and at least 1 of them will likely step up.
D Mukhamadulin and Laroque will be the stars, but guys like Puli Okhotiyuk Guryev etc will add sound D. Plus the logjam at D means at least 2-3 NHL caliber D will be in the Cuda.
And the forwards will be deeper because of the same log jam, Coe is a beast and last year was underwhelming this year should be a jump. Same with Weisblatt. Gushin, Robins, and Bordeleau.
IMO the Cuda will be fast tough and fun to watch and will make the playoffs,
Sharks will be god awful and likely get the best chance at Celebrini.
While that sounds bad the plus is potential 3 1sts and 4 in the top 40 with 1 in the top 3. Add that to a top 10 pool and 30+ mil in cap space means the sharks are looking at finally starting the rebuild part of the “rebuild” process.
I am planning on seeing multiple Cuda games this year!
