Here's how i think a 2016 re draft would go with the benefit of hindsight

2Logo of the Winnipeg Jets-Tkachuck has proven he is the 2nd best player in this draft. Back to back 100 point seasons, dragging Florida into the playoffs and all the way to the SCF
3Logo of the Columbus Blue Jackets-Imagine what Keller could do with elite talent around him
4Logo of the Edmonton Oilers-Edmonton needs a #1 D man, and Fox only wanted to go to NYR. McAvoy is the best D man available
5Logo of the Vancouver Canucks-Sergachev and Chychrun can both play both sides which can make them a good partner for Hughes. It was a toss up, but Sergachev's durability gives him the edge. Best ability is availability
6Logo of the Calgary Flames-Calgary just goes best player available

Interesting laine would go so high, why is he better than a Thompson or a kyrou?

Laine the past 2 seasons has been a ppg player just injured all the time. Plus he scores. Im not sure why you would think Kyrou would be drafted over him, less games played, worse ppg rating. Laine is just terrible defensively thats about it, struggles with consistency but if thats a bad thing while scoring a ppg thats fine

yeah what about Thompson laine wanted to leave Winnipeg why would he want to stay in cgy

Well nobody wants to stay in Calgary, there rink is ****, weather is terrible. I would say up until now Laine has produced at a more consistent pace since the draft then Thompson has, he is also now on a way better team than laine so he can be expected to produce more. But its hard to say im giving the edge to Laine but after next year could be thompson

Yeah for sure haha weather would be pretty deadly for an outsider here in the winter
