Doesnt need to be good when youre in the ozone everytime. only thing that makes him a bad defender is he doesnt back check. Once he gets into the zone it almost seems like the puck is out of their end and theyre back on attack right? Yeah they are such different players, this guy is just struggling to say anything about drai that is good, ive made points on how matthews could be better and how drai could be, theyre so different from each other it is hard but i am still taking drai due to contract and production wise, plus playoffs

He is the best playoff player in the world possibly one of the most dominant ever production wise. Hes to stunned to see that Draisaitl also helps mcdavid, thats what teammates and line mates are supposed to do for each other and turns out they just do it better than matthews and marner do

All those PP minutes with Mcdavid, yeah sure but he either scores them or has the primary assist so i am missing the point of what you are trying to say, Mcdavid thrives as much off drai as drai does off of him. Him and Mcdavid have two completely different styles of play that compliment each other that they actually make each other better not just one way? Take drai off of oilers pp and they lose half of there pp success

Draisaitl gets all the credit for his points when McDavid is the generational talent that could be the best ever player. Put him with MacKinnon and how many points does he get? Less than Draisaitl? Nope, I would say he gets a lot more. If Hyman can go from a 60 point player to an 80+ point player, what would that mean for better players who offer more?</div></div>

Im not to sure what to say, tell matthews to draw more penalties then and get more Powerplays. Drai producing on the PP only helps his case that he is better than Matthews, its another aspect of the game Drai is better at. Do you ever notice how Drai makes the players around him better, matthews needs the players around him to make himself better. AM34 is not getting nuge even close to a 100 point season. I am very confused why you think his powerplay numbers are any different, the goals and points still count in the game right? and yeah i know the ploffs doesnt have as many powerplays, well sadly for you Drai is also 10x better in the ploffs? whats your argument

Okay fine take your guy who is invisible in playoffs when it matters. who is better at defensive play and natural goal scoring ability. Ill take drai who is the best playoff player in the NHL right now, Arguably top 2-4 in the league put him wherever you want. Drai has a higher PPG with near 150 more games played than Matthews. If were talking point production, Im taking Drai, playoffs = drai. Plus Drai's deal isnt screwing his team for the enxt 5 years
