I’d sure hope we could get more outta lindholm and possibly backs mayeb if we retained , but I don’t get the point here you go start a rebuild than give up your best prospect your best d imo and a young goalie for a pending ufa?

Caps are definitely the wrong team for Backlund

This is all over the place

While on paper it looks like the Pens trade would work, there is no need for them to make this trade to acquire Hanifin. They already have Pettersson and Graves who are similar players to Hanifin. Pens would be better off utilizing this type of package for either part of the Karlsson trade or upgrading from Granlund with a team who needs future LHD help.
