What's with that Nylander trade. He'll either be a UFA and the Leafs don't get a return for hm, or he is resigned by the Leafs with a NMC.

Reall?. Marner and Tavares have MMCs. Matthews and Nylander has M NTCs. Since the Leafs are in win mode.....why would they trade any of their so called top 4?
You realize there are about 100 upcoming UFAs, It's the non playoff contenders that are in in sell mode with their UFAs, not contending teams.
Now Nylander might be logical choice to traded but it would be immediate help this season.
You can be sure if Nylander resigns with the Leafs it will be a NMC and he won't be traded. Besides it's kinda ridiculous for Nashville to give so much. They can just sign a UFA and keep all those young assets.
