If Schmid plays in the NHL this year that contract is wishful thinking imo. If he's in the AHL all year, it's fair.

I don't see Toffoli getting 1x6.5m. Either he plays well enough to get 6.5m and someone offers him a multi-year deal, or he comes in far cheaper than 6.5. Personally I think we let him walk, giving Holtz a permanent top 6 role and Clarke the 3RW spot

I take issue with Hughes on the third pair this year, nevermind next year, but that's minor

I really hope Holtz can make the jump this year. I think Clarke should get games in the NHL this year too. He's been great in Utica and looks ready
