Description
Gonna do an armchair GM of each team. Hopefully get 1 per day. I don't necessarily know pairings, so please forgive me. Just trying to think logistically what each team could do this offseason.

They don't make too many moves. Bring in another goalie since they seem to need 2 new goalies every offseason now. Try and target Shane Doan for some veteran leadership for a year if he doesn't retire. Won't be shocked if Valimaki makes the team taking Kulak's spot on the bottom pairing.

I think Valimaki in his own mind wants to go back to junior for a year in Tri-City. He was on the radio in town the other day and said that he has a goal to play in the NHL in two years. I have no problem with that. He would also have to jump more than just Kulak, talent wise I think Valimaki is better than Kylington, Andersson, Kulak but NHL readiness goes to those three guys, especially Kulak. It will be an exciting few years with the D core we have now and the pipeline of prospects!
I have been grilled by some people when I say that Doan is a decent fit for the bottom 6 on a one year deal. he will be full of piss and vinegar, has a solid connection with our new goalie and Treliving knows him better than most people in the league. Only on a one year deal though, the guy just hasn't stopped scoring, every year he surprises me, hopefully this wouldn't be the one.
Last point, I don't expect Foo to be on the opening day roster, I know there is a lot of hype around him and I think he will tear up rookie camp, but especially if Doan comes in for a year, Foo is going to get some seasoning in the AHL, maybe a mid season call up!

I completely agree on everything. Valimaki: My main team I cheer for is actually Tampa Bay, and I was hoping we would take him needing a left handed d-man. So much skill! While I agree he should go back to junior, it wouldn't shock me if he comes in and blows people away like Tkachuk.

Doan: It just makes perfect sense for him to play here I think if he's willing to play, and willing to play in a northern market.

Foo: It was definitely tough trying to slot him in as it's never easy trying to figure out how the rookie will play. I think he'll outperform Lazar and Hathaway to at least crack the 23-man roster. I like him over Jimmy Vesey though for comparison out of the NCAA.
