Description

With Edmonton giving huge $$ to McDavid and Draisaitl, they need to trade Hopkins. Especally with Strome now, which could be a great 3rd line C at a cap friendly deal.

EDM's RW depth is not that strong, leading to my thoughts on Gallagher, along with his relationship with Lucic. As much as I love Gallagher, I'd rather keep Galchenyuk and his higher offensive upside.

I agree and I'm surprised both teams haven't come together to discuss this. Gallagher has a great cap hit and would make a lot of sense for EDM.
