Sweeney would never do it unfortunately but Forborts excellent PK metrics don’t bring enough value to justify the cap hit especially when Lindholm Carlo and McAvoy are more than capable of elite play on the PK

Wait why? Sure another LHD would be nice, but he’d leave in free agency next summer and we have a bigger long term need at RD where Urho plays

Ideally, Brown isn't on the NHL roster. He isn't a good NHLer and with Lucic, that's two fringe NHLers.

Pastrnak and Marchand separated should spread the offense/scoring although they might have to load up again like pre-2022. Agreed with most of the rest.

Yeah I’d love it if Beecher could take that 4C role but I don’t see it happening until a month or two into the season at the earliest
If Lysell makes the roster it might make the most sense to put him with Pasta and Zacha because it also allows Marchand and DeBrusk to stay on the same line

Urho doesn’t play though

Colton White is better than he is anyways — Urho is like LD5 or LD6 for us imo. We need a Drysdale partner and that’s what Forbort does for a year

Yeah I’m cool to add Forbert. Just didn’t feel like we’d need to move Urho to get him

Yeah or a 6th but I’d have absolutely no problem tossing the guy out in a trade for a LD or a RD

I think Boqvist gets a shot at 4C over Brown, DeBrusk stays on the right of Coyle, Lysell remains in Providence until injuries happen and Merkulov gets in some reps at 2/3LW.
