Yes the situation is far from being as alarming as it's made out to be on the internet (which is why opposing team fans wanting a 1st or two 2nds for "dumping" Joseph are quite unrealistic)

Plus, Pinto could be had for even cheaper if you sign him on a 1 year bridge deal. Convince him in it's in his best interest and he could cash out as soon as next season.

Look at Dellandrea and Harvey-Pinard deals for example, really cheap (and RHD got 2 years!). Or look at Kevin Labanc a few years ago after scoring 50+ pts
