That’s because your gm was smart and prioritized getting the 8 year term, despite paying a higher aav. We had treliving the moron, who nickel and dimed our stars which got us shorter term but lower aav deals. So he could blow the extra cap space on the Troy Brouwers, James Neal’s and Hamonics of the world lol
