Don't give Power 4 years. It will walk him right to UFA as early as possible

That's a No No with Power, and some of those FA signings are unnecessary IMO. And did you just let Joker walk ?

Savoie will 100% be on this team next year, and I think Benson will as well.

My bad, was trying to do the same thing we did with Dahlin, should've been 3 years then.

In regards to Power, I meant to do the same thing we did with Dahlin so it sounds like it should've been a 3 year contract instead so he's still an RFA at the end of it. Ideally Joker is included in part of a package for Pesce this trade deadline. I couldn't really do a trade properly there because Pesce is a UFA next summer anyways. Otherwise let him play out this season and then trade his rights to somebody for an admittedly not great return before July 1. In regards to FA signings I did: Okposo I guess isn't needed, I just want him to stay around; I think Foligno (or someone like him, maybe someone internal like Brett Murray) is really needed to help increase the grit factor as that's a definite weakness; we need a backup goalie and unless UPL really shows up this season it's just not him (I think there's still some interest in him around the league so his rights can get traded next summer if he's not packaged in season). We need better defensive defensemen, so that's why I targeted Pesce and Hakanpaa. I totally agree that the Lafferty signing could be replaced internally, but the main reason I chose him was because of his excellent PK skills, which is something we lack at the moment.

Thanks, good stuff here. I like the Pesce and Hakanpaa signings. Think Hakanpaa brings that toughness to. And Nadeau and Kozak can bring it to. Could see one of them in 24-25
