Not a fan of either team, but I think the trade is both fair and logical for both. Man, Oilers would almost guarantee themselves a cup with this move and as a Leafs fan, I really hope it doesn't happen...

You paid to dump Campbell, when do you pay to get Helle?

Hellebuyck isn't going to Edmonton, And that doesn't come close to getting him plus paying to dump Campbell as well.

Why does everybody on here think Campbell can’t bounce back?
I agree it was a horrible signing for Edmonton but having to pay multiple first round picks to get rid of his contract when the odds are he will bounce back and be a decent goalkeeper again is not going to happen.
Having to pay a few assets to trade him I can see but what most people on here are wanting is getting old fast.
Holland won’t trade him anyway because he’d be admitting he made a mistake.
He’ll take a chance on Campbell coming back to form and Skinner improving even more than he did last year.
