Hockey has evolved significantly over the past 30 years, when nearly every team had large defensemen, with two scoring lines, a checking line and a goon line.
Today, nearly every team has several very mobile offense first defensemen, 3 scoring lines and a checking line.

When one adds Benson and Rosen in place of Greenway and Rousak the Sabres would have 4 scoring lines, unheard of in the NHL.
Other teams will not be able to keep up with them, and the Sabres will literally wear them down.
