Description

- Poitras gets 9 games to prove he belongs
- Lohrei/Mitchell battle for 7th D spot. Lohrei gets the first crack.
- Lohrei gets rotated with Grz/Forbort for games. If Lohrei performs, he could make Grz a trade piece.
- Zboril is waived as is Brown, Boqvist, Greer.
- Heinen is signed to rotate as a bottom 6 piece.
- Lysell gets another year of AHL experience as do Harrison, Merkulov, Topo, and McLaughlin.

Yea, this makes the most sense. However I think Lohrei would benefit from a full season in Providence being their #1 d-man, rather than being rotated throughout an NHL season. The NHL isn't really that great when it comes to development.
