Description

Resigning Mercer to a long term deal. Sign Toffoli to a 3 year deal at a team friendly cap got. If anymore than 6, then I’d argue they need to move on to keep cap compliant. Schmid signs 2 year bridge deal.

Yeah I wasn’t sure. Might be worth giving him more for a 1 year contract but I’d think Toffoli wants term. If he goes off with his line this year, it’ll be hard to keep him and be cap compliant.

Yeah, I think he's more of a year long rental. I definitely think he'll get 30+G and will want a long term deal, he might take 6mil but, how much will the young guys want the year after is tough to judge, especially if they have big years this season and not just the next
