Habs pass

Makes sense, since they're also rebuilding.

Exactly.

The last thing that Habs will trade are 1st and 2nd round picks.

Also, contrary to many people on here, Josh Anderson is far from being a poison for GM Kent Hughes.
He has great leadership, great size and speed, and although his production is underwhelming, there's not a super urgent need to get rid of his contract for the moment.
I believe he will remain on the roster for the whole season - even passed the deadline.
There is a way to USE his presence, production and place in the lineup for this season, even the next, and allow him the time to accrue a better value.

I love Anderson. He's probably like 1 mill/year overpaid, which isn't the worst thing. If he was like a 4-4.5 mill guy, no one would be complaining. On a playoff team, he was much much more value, compared to a rebuilding team like Montreal.
I really wanted the Oilers to get him, before we got Evander Kane.

Kuzy is 1-2 years too old for this to make it work for MTL, but the biggest problem is the contract, because it is too short, yet we cannot negotiate this year, so basically, there is a good chance he leaves and we loose solid assets for not much

EXACTLY.
Anderson is not "worthless", as some people refer to him (as a cap dump).
Habs do not see him as a cap dump at all.

I like your opinion about the 1mil more, that's it.
