I think if Eller and O'Connor would be on the block, Nieto and Acciari would be, too. The only bottom 6 players I think are safe are Zohorna and Carter (I don't think he waives his NMC for any reason).
That puts the Pens in a really tough spot regardless, because I think Rakell is incredibly unlikely to be moved, and he's the only one on the block that gives the Pens much space to work with. Any deal would need to be money in, money out and making a trade that is that and also actually impactful is a very tall order.

Was gonna say the same thing, I wouldn't say anyone in our bottom 6 should be off the block. Rakell I don't think is untouchable though. No NMC and he's the only player we can trade that would free up significant cap space. Not a huge fan of the idea, but if this awful start continues I don't think anything can be ruled out.

Guentzel is not going to be traded now, but if we struggle bad and are out of playoffs at deadline I think it becomes likely.
