Considering the term remaining on Soup’s contract, a 1st and a quality prospect is going to be the absolute minimum any team is going to ask for to even consider taking on Soup. And if you take into account Edmonton’s overall cap situation, no team is going to take on Soup for the bare minimum. If Edmonton wants to move Soup, in all likelihood, the asking price probably starts at about 2 firsts.

The Sharks should get more for sure but the buyout is actually not bad on Campbell.
