Description

1. McMichael has earned a larger role in the top six, Kuznetsov hasn't. If he doesn't like it, tough ****. Show me you actually care about playing.

2. I've seen enough Phillips. I want him to do well but I just don't think he's made for the NHL. If they want to keep him up due to injuries so be it but he should be off the 23 man roster when guys start to return.

3. Mantha getting hurt sucks, he was finally showing a pulse.

4. This defense in general needs to improve but my God they lack snarl. I am more than willing to see what Edmundson's got.

5. Lapierre should be in Hershey playing his natural position on a line that suits his skills. Call up a winger or two to play in your bottom six.

Agree with pretty much everything except I would keep Ovi-Wilson-Strome together and bring up Miro instead of Snively, especially if you're also bringing up NAK

I agree. One of the things I like about Carbery (especially compared to Lav -- this is one of the complaints about him that I don't think is complete bull****) is his ability and willingness to read the flow of the game and adjust lines and icetime accordingly. McM was flying last night and got some extra shifts in at 2lw last night, especially once mantha got hurt. He also got moved up to PP2 over Phillips. Wouldn't surprise me at all if McM is nominally 3c on the lineup sheet but plays more than Kuzy or Milano or Oshie
