low-key I do think it was a mistake to call up the children without the ability to give them more support. We are throwing them off a boat during a category 4 hurricane

played w/ Kunin/Granlund in practice who aren't bad. The team should be able to be competitive most nights so I'm not too woried.

we have been watching different games...

Granlund has arguably been sharks worst forward recently and kunin is an offensive black hole... not exactly the best options for guschin to be producing offense

***edit the sharks have not been competitive most nights :/

*Edit I apologize for the tone of this. I dont like how it sounds but ive just gotten up and can't find the right words. One thing I love about sports is how we can all have different take aways, to me granlund is still way off his best and kunin is an offensive black hole on both ends of the ice. I think in a very defensive 3rd or 4th line role he has a lot of value but he keeps being put in positions where we depend on him to produce and that isnt his game

Why bench Vlasic, he’s been their best Dman? He has the best plus/minus at -6, out of the 65 goals, everyone else is at 10-12 or more minus.

Vlassic has been our worst d man despite getting so little ice time. +- is not a good stat. For example Mario Ferraro has the worst at -18 but he is constantly being deployed against top lines and better players. Vlassic & Rutta are still producing the worst advanced stats on the team. I mean vlassic has been record setting this year. I love pickles, but I feel like we are starting to enter the territory of buying him out as a mercy so he can finish his career with some competency left.

I agree Granlund has been bad overall, but I think offensively and offensively creativity he's been god. Bad defensively, bad turnovers, bad penalites, but I think offense-wise, he's been good, which should help a shooter like Guschin. I think Granlund can get a lot better and he has been in the past.
I agree Kunin has been bad offensively, but overall I really like his game. I agree, should be bottom 6 and would be really good there.
Yeah not too competitive so far, but they should get better (can't get much worse) especially with injured guys coming back

No prob. Maybe next year, he'll only have 2 years left?

I dont think it makes a ton of sense for them to buy him out because its not like we will need cap or anything but I just dont want to see him go out like this ya know?

I always liked him, and I don't blame him for the money he gets, he was like the Jumbos, Patty, Pavs, Burns, they all took less to have a good team.
