I think Hanifin ends up with a similar deal to go back to school — he also isn’t able to get 8 years if he signs as a free agent, 7 years is the max then u less his rights are traded before

There's no freaking way Toronto is giving William Nylander 8 x $11,000,000

And Noah Hanifin will only play south of the border, And you can't give him 8 years unless you trade for him. And he's not waiving for any other Canadian team.
