Knyzhov deserves to play every night, I don’t mind moving him for give him a better role but not to just ride the bench.

That seems like a huge overpay for roslovic. Wouldnt hate it if the second wasnt conditional but there is no chance the rangers give up potentially a first round pick for him

He's playing like a legitimate 2nd-line center on a terrible team right now, and would be a solid scoring 3C or winger. He probably costs a late 2nd, but then with 50% retention that could be upgraded to a couple of 2nds, or a 1st. The prospects are take it or leave it, unless NYR needs the contract slots or cap space, they don't really need to be in the deal. We need quality over quantity, which is why the conditional 2nd that could become a 1st makes sense. This especially when you consider NYR only has one 2nd and one 3rd for the next 3 seasons...
