I wouldn’t do it as Boston. I think you can find som solid c depth without blowing up a roster that is running smoothly

I agree. But I think you need a game breaker to win in the playoffs. Other than Pasta. Nobody else fits that bill. And Drai feeding Pasta. That’s a game changer. And steal Nylander next year in free agency.

Nylander - Draisatl - Pasta. Would be unstoppable

Typically yes but I think Boston has the depth everywhere else to get away with a more practical Center. It’s not the usual was but I think they could make it work if they get super deep at c.

I wonder if there’s a way to make a hertl deal work.

Yah that would definitely be a cheaper more safer option for sure.

This move would completely cannibalize Boston's current strengths and the prospect pool at forward with no high-end picks in sight. It's not worth it for one player. This isn't the NBA.

Bruins future is blown up for a year and a half of a top C. Coyle and Zacha are doing great rn, we don’t need to make any trades. Boston would never trade one of their goalies unless it’s an one for one trade for a top player.
