I don't disagree but I feel like the fact that it's widely known that he wants out brings his value down a little bit

With a pending FA, I don't think it does because odds were that we were moving him anyways. The Flames have made it clear there is no rush to move Zadorov, worst case scenario is he stops playing hard, but then he's ****ing himself more than anyone because that hurts his UFA bag. Best thing for Z is to play his ass off, get traded and get a big ass bag this summer; which benefits us and him.
