Wow I am not a fan of either of these teams but if Treliving trades Marner for Wilson than he should be fired immediately and be charged with impersonating a general manager.

Ovie needs to score at least 35 goals this year if he wants a shot at beating Gretzky.

If he keeps dropping 10 goals per season (50 down to 40, down to 30 down to 20 down to 10) the math will equal coming up about a dozen goals short of the record.

Unless he signs a 1 yr deals to continue to play like other legends who refused to step away, Jumbo Joe, Marleau, Jagr etc.

I 100% know...

Just watching the Caps, it seems like Strome is the go to scorer on Ovie's line, which is so unusual, Ovie always had a playmaker with him.

Ovie is playing the decoy role, or Ovie really has lost his scoring ability.
