Description

Not totally sure on the valuation of a straight up Nuge - Galchenyuk trade. Seems to serve needs of both franchises (reliable centreman for MTL vs speedy winger for EDM), and both players could benefit from fresh starts and better opportunities. I think the actual value of the trade would come down to Galchenyuk's contract, and whether it's a trade-and-sign like here or just traded RFA rights. I imagine Edmonton would also be very interested in a cheaper contract to better deal with their upcoming cap crunch.

Canucks likely have interest in Gallagher - Vancouver kid with a lot of locker room presence and the kind of game that lets you lead the league in goalie interference calls.

Lehkonen could maybe be replaced with Juulsen here? Juulsen seems more valuable maybe but he is not NHL ready like Artturi.

Sort-of, do you say that because you think it's overpaying for the Sedins? My intention was for that to be valued as closer to a dead-line deal when the Canucks are doing terribly and the Habs are in full win-now/buy-a-center mode. Henrik would be a really good fit for their scoring center/powerplay setup needs, and I think Daniel going just makes sense.

Sorry but... two bad trade. Galchenyuk worth more than RH and why are you trading the future of the organisation for two old player that can only plays for like 2 years maximum?
