Value migth be fair, but I don't think the Penguins should sell Pickering when they are looking doubtful for a playoff spot. Even if they do make a wild card, they'd be playing NYR or the Bruins, and I don't see them winning either series.

If it does happen, the Habs should hold on to Pickering. I don't know if he'll ever be a Hughes/Heiskanen type #1 defenseman, especially with his skating, but I can imagine him being a top 4 if not solid#2 defenseman in a few year. Could compare to Jake Sanderson, although I don't know if that's the best comparison. Regardless, I think Pittsburgh would be very shortsighted to do this.
